If and When Film Ferrania comes out with their answer to 7285 would you use it?

There has been a lot of discussion on the Still side about the nice folks at Film Ferrania attempting to get a ASA 100 E6 film into production, which one the main perceived markets as 16mm and Super 8 Movies.

do you think their is a market for it?

(details are at http://www.filmferrania.it/ )

I'd be real keen. Missed out on getting a few cans of 7285 as at the time was a little skint on cash. Don't know how much I'd use however.

Of course. The Ferranians should be clever and flood the market with their new old film in every possible format and keep the cameras rolling. E-6 processing is not too weird to accomplish. I remember well the yellow boxes on a board with practically every kiosk and sausage stand in Tuscany back in the 1970s. Now it’s time for their packs and I’d love to find them with photo dealers, too. They claim to have perforators for 35, 16, Double Eight, Double-Super 8, perhaps even 9,5.

Yes, massively. Like the other poster I was strapped for cash at the time they were phasing out 7285 and regretted never being able to shoot some. I grabbed some 120 for still shots, but in fact was so skint i had to dump most of my 16mm gear. If there was an affordable and identical stock I would be interested in gearing up again.
