This family of cameras began with the Exakta Kine in 1936, reputedly the first 35 mm SLR ever put into production. Many of its features can still be found in today’s SLR cameras.
Body: Canon 7 with shutter removed, film advance modified (two strokes per frame via bolted stop), 63mm film aperture, RF cam follower shortened, DIY pressure plate.
Lens: Fujinon 5.6/45 from the GS645W on a #00 Compur-Rapid shutter and helicoid from a Hoya 2.8/28 lens.
