Fomapan R 20 would be nice

#1
What does everybody think, can FOMA BOHEMIA be brought to consider making a slow but finely grained reversal stock? 8-mm., 9½-mm., 16-mm. out of a Fomapan R 20, exposure index ISO 20, could find strong demand in my eyes. Me personally am tired of the Fomapan R 100 gravel. I wish there was back a black-and-white reversal film appropriate to the small gauges.

I suppose it would depend if there's a market for this outside of cine film (which is a niche within a niche within a niche). And how expensive it would be for them to do R&D on a totally new product. My guess is "no".

The market for this would be tiny. The market for B&W reversal film in any format, still or cine, is tiny. We are lucky that Foma Bohemia continues to offer FOmapan R100, and currently Fome Cine Ortho and even Fomapan 100 negative in 8mm and 16mm.
