A photographer friend mentioned that aspirin could be used with caffenol, any formulas with that in use? Have not done caffenol yet, as I recently moved to another city, and getting my things together. So does caffenol smell as bad as I have read? Came across a DIY formula for rodinol, which uses tylenol. Has any in the group dabble in this?

Yes it does smell badly and it lingers also but sorry no experience with the pain medication additions.

sorry i can't help you with hte aspirin either, you might go to one of the caffenol blogs, maybe there are people there
who have experience with that. i have heard of using salt, but not aspirin.
i don't even notice the smell anymore, but the joke used to go like this

Q: "how long do you develop your film for?"

A: " until you can't stand the smell ... "
