Every so often I see boxes of amateur slides. Generally from 1950's-1970's vintage. I've been tempted to to buy them as 'collections' but I know they would just collect dust.

-I do find them interesting as 'historical records' of locations, styles, etc. But as they are not inherently historical in nature, they will never be of any value.

Is there anyone who actively collects these slides?
