Expired film

Hi, i have 3 rolls (now) of expired film. 2 is an Alpha from India. its a 125 speed film. And one is Kodak tri x pan 400.
I did develop one kodak tri x pan the other day with D76 at 21 degrees. It looked like kind of thin, greyish neg. i was informed it was a bit under exposed too
Is there any suggestions i could get?

If film came from India then kit has probably been damaged by the heat -- reason for the Greyish Fog on your Tri-X !

Shoot it at half speed and over develop using HC-110.

The rolls have been shot. I have only D76 with me. Have developed 3 rolls as of yesterday. Now i have one Alpha 125(India) film. Yesterday, i dev one roll of Alpha in basic timing 8 min/20 C, stop for 3 min and fixed for 7. And washed for 7 mins. The negatives was purplish.
Can i get the firmula for HC-110?

HC-110 would be used with dilution B which is 1:31 I think.

D-76 should work fine, if still purple processes for longer and give it a pre-wash. I always wash for at least 15 min after fix but water is cheap and plentiful where I live.
