Kodak Advantix APS

#2
Good morning;

The title of this message thread, and the question in the original message are not really clear to me.

The main difficulty that most of us will have with the Kodak Advantix APS film cartridges is getting them processed. The machines for doing that work tend to be commercial machines that do not lend themselves easily to a home dark room environment. At least, I have not yet found any Advantix APS cartridge film processor for home use. (I do recall the little black plastic box that Polaroid had for making 35mm slides directly from their own 35mm film.)

There are some commercial machines that would also provide a digital scan of your APS film and give you a CD-ROM disk for your later digital use. And the Kodak people had their own little Advantix APS film scanner that was not too expensive and was intended for home use. I do have one of those, but I have not yet connected it to any of my computers. I have been trying to keep up with e-mail and the much too frequent hard disk crash that I have experienced.

If I can get both the Advantix Scanner and the Minolta Scan Dual (original) connected, I could participate more often in this forum.

Enjoy;
