Nothing particular. A nice heavy sheet of glass with rounded edges is handy for lots of things.. I've got one that's about 1/4" thick and maybe 14 inches square. I use it to press leaves/negatives/things onto photo paper, as a surface to dry prints on, as a surface to do "wet printing" on, as a makeshift print frame with bulldog clips for exposing cyanotypes in the sun, etc...
