Mamiya Rangefinders

Mamiya 7II and strobe compatibility

#1
I want to use a Nikon SB 8oo strobe on my Mama 7II. My concerns are the pin configuration on the strobe not matching my camera's hot shoe's pins and any voltage discrepancies. I do have other strobes: Nikon SB 900 and Nikon SB 28.

thanks,

LeeMo

There’s no reason you should have a problem. You will have to manually input the information into your speed light. There’s no audio settings. But pretty much every hot shoe has the center panel which is the only one you really need. Set it to 1/60 shutter speed and enjoy.

Wow just realized how bad auto-correct messed up my sentences and how much I didn't proof read... hah! "Auto settings" and "center pin which..." hopefully you got the idea.
