for a few years now i have been having my local xerox shop/copy store
make paper negatives for me. i wish i had a laser printer, it would really make my
life a little easer and less expensive but i suppose my negatives are worth $1 for 10 sheets of 8.5x11 ...
or whatever absurd!! price they seem to be charging me.
a few years ago when i started to do these i had the images printed on large paper, full size. it
really isn't magic or hard, i just inverted the file and sized it to whatever size it was supposed to be.
ez-pz ...then they get waxed and rubbed down. its pretty straight forward.
stick the image in a contact frame and in the sun it goes. it usually takes about 7 or 8 hours of direct sun
and a good washing. and it works pretty well... these days i am not going large but small and put them
4 to a 8x10 page. it works great !

hi thetoadmen

no, these aren't salt prints, but cyanotypes ( classic formula )
aside from taking a long time because the negative is paper
i am guessing its also taking a while because my paper (coated)
is 7 months or 8 months old and might have lost some sensitivity.
i'll be coating some fresh sometime soon ( and i have an order in
with sunprints.org to buy some pre-coated ) and i will see if it takes
any less time...

i just uploaded images in the group gallery...
