Pyrocat-HD, the formula from Sandy King (thank you Sandy), with Tri-X and HP4 is what I like.
For the B part I use Sodium Carbonate (anhydricum), not the Potassium Carbonate as this is harder to find and a little more expensive over here, and I need the Sodium for a few other formula's too.
I add the Sodium directly to the working dilution (and let is stand for a few minutes so it can dissolve) just before processing.
By this it is: 1 part A (as formulated by S. King) + 100 parts water + 10 gr/l Sodium Carbonate.
The stop bath is buffered (with Sodium Hydroxide) as formulated by Ryuji Suzuki to preserve the staining colour, and the fix is neutral-to-alkaline (from the C-41 process by Fuji-Hunt) for the same reasons.
I started processing in Pyrocat-HD in 2005 when AGFA demised and my beloved Agfapan (400 & 100) was no more, which I used to develop in Rodinal, and Refinal (for pushing).
Tri-X in Pyro approached this AGFA combo rather closely, for pushing, Tri-X @ 1600ASA, I use E-76 1+1 as formulated by Chris Patton (thank you Chris)...
The film format I use is mainly 120 roll film (6x6, 6x9, 6x17) as I don't like 35mm (don't ask me why)...
These negatives are used for scanning aswel for printing (on Fomabrom FB developed in E-72 also by Ch. Patton).
I find some joy in mixing developers, it gives a feeling of 'awareness' in what I do.
