Good morning;
Just to show that people are still doing things with SINAR cameras, I was visiting my local camera store this weekend, and found some SINAR things in their display case. The salesman who was assisting did not know that I had SINAR 4 by 5 gear. He will watch for things like this in the future. Anyway, a SINAR main rail with end caps, a mount clamp (without the label) to go on it, a few miscellaneous standard pieces, and an undrilled lens board came home with me. The lens board will go onto the SINAR F1 when not in use to help keep dust out. The plastic levers on the main clamp have some cracks and plastic pieces missing, but that can be cured with some epoxy glue and tape used as a form to provide the shape to blend with the contours of the parts still there.
I still need to do something about the bubble levels on the earlier SINAR F.
Enjoy; Ralph, Latte Land, Washington (who is still contact printing 4 by 5)
