They were taken in Oct 1967 while I was on leave from the US Army in Germany (I was an Army photographer, trained at the Signal School @ Ft. Monmouth. NJ). I used a new Leica M4 & several new Leica lenses-28, 50, & 90 2.8. My professional photographer friend in Manhatten says they remind him of the "Realist" Italian cinema of the 40's & 50's.
