Backstage with the Mayor

Taken during the rally following the Martin Luther King Day march in San Francisco, 2005.

I was surprised that I wasn't stopped when I walked backstage with my camera. I was wearing a yellow jacket, which happened to match the yellow t-shirts of march staffers. Also, I had my Mamiya 6 hanging around my neck. I must have looked official.

That's Mayor Newsome giving his keynote address.

I admit to tweaking the foreground a bit in Photoshop. So if that violates any group rules, please forgive this newbie...

Hi Chuck,
i can see the tweaking in the foreground...if you did a print, you prob hold it off a bit?

Anyway, I like it, it is very atmospheric.
