Thank you John, Donald and Suzanne, for your comments. This is a negative scan btw, since the print is 11x14 and wouldn't fit on the scanner (Epson 3200). I tried to duplicate the print values in photoshop, but couldn't....the print is way too subtle for the 'grossness' of a screen rendering.

I'd seen this before, but not had time to comment on it. I love the tightness of the shot and the intricate detail. I'll bet the print DOES really 'pop'! it's beautiful!
