Black Basalt Nude

Mixture of black basalt in canyon stream bed. I fear the basalt in this image is too blue, the original transparency is a beautiful neutral jet black without overcast color of any sort. This is the first time I have tried this on the kind encouragement and patient instruction of Kathleen Fonseca. Copyright David Allen James 2001-2004.

you've got it, David! Great job! Much clearer and so much more vivid. Maybe the shadows are a wee bit dense? What do you think? Could be my monitor, they're all different. Adjusting your color on your scanned image is very easy in PS..if you got this far you can surely edit out a slight color cast on your next image. i'm sitting here just clapping my hands that you achieved real success after just your third upload! You are so very welcome..it was a pleasure to help one who was so eager to help himself..Keep 'em coming! kat~
