Thanks everyone. Regarding the columns Paul, at first they were quite difficult for me. This print had to be wiped down more than once to remove all inks and really it is the 4th inking on the second print. I'm just a student right now. Well, student of school of hard knocks I liken the columns to two steps forward, one step back. I had to lay the ink down with large brush then remove it with a variety of processes (saran wrap, brayer, soft clean sable brush). I'm finding thats the best way to get detail is to lay it on denser that you want and then to remove to the level you are seeking.
