This is a straight color scan: a trial print from a polymer plate - not what I'm really after, but I like it. I'm still trying to get a better control over the tonal range in these prints and I hope to be posting more of them soon.

This print looks like it could have been taken in 1840 or so. Cool.

John got me to look at this tonight Whitey (jnanian) after I mentioned photolithography (using offset press aluminum plate exposed in halftone) as my next step after having bought an etching press. By the way, maybe things were different in 2008 but Ultrafine is still selling that continuous tone direct positive film. They also have litho film which can be developed to obtain a continuous tone.
