I love these. Always great to see your cyanotypes
I really think these would benefit alot from a less 'heavy' border..theyre so light and ephemeral and for me the border just weighs them down and takes me away from the feeling the image gives me. You may now tell me to "go to..."

Hmm I thought the wider border looked more "clean" rather than the sloppy borders I normally do. Might try the ever-tedious drafting tape masking for a few coatings to see if you're right or not
I am not bothered at all by the border, it actually draws me in more to the image, it almost gives a sense of depth, as if I am looking through a microscope, or the image lying in a deep tray... I love the curly forms of the "leaves" on the left as a contrast to the strong geometric pattern of the seeds.
I would have assumed that the final presentation would be behind a mat so that the size of the over brushing is a moot point. I like the image and print.

I don't overmat the brush strokes (the only time two have been matted and framed the brushstrokes were shown) but that's the theory I have behind it. If you buy a print from me and don't like the messy, you can easily cover it up.
