1959 Chevy-just sitting in hot sun and deterioating : 2004

I took this photo in 1994. This rather well preserved Chevy has sat in this very site for about 20 years. The original owner is deceased, his only child will not sell. She has been offered Large money for vehicle, but holds out steadfast.
In the meanwhile it is deterioating with every passing day. ( Saw it today-looks sad from highway)

Cool shot. I had a shirt tail uncle that had a '31 Model A coupe on his ranch that could not be had for any amount of $$. It had been his son's and he was killed in battle in WWII. That car was more of a shrine than any gravestone ever could have been.

Very cool. Love the glass.

Unique Story. NEVER PASS UP OPPORTUNITY TO PHOTOGRAPH RELICS. Just moments ago, today Monday,I found out that historical old barn ( which I had planned to photograph this week) was burned deliberately under "control" pratice for fire dept.
STUPID f---LS!
tHANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT

If you are thinking of maybe purchasing it one day...be careful....some of them had a Turbo Glide transmission that were quite finnicky..

You could also get a 348 cubic inch engine in that baby also..nice...four door hard top...

Beautiful image.

So it's been 13 years since you took this photo, making it about 33 years that the car has sat there,...if it's still there. If it is, perhaps a 2007 image would be interesting.
