Severns Bridge

Mid-morning shot from Severns Bridge taken just past the peak foliage season (2004).

I appreciate the insight. I have no experience shooting slide film, though I've read much about Velvia. This image was part of a film test I was doing, after some very disappointing results with another film (ASA 100 SuperHQ, though I don't know what is so "super" about it). I'll likely be purchasing a second body soon, in part so I can experiment with slide film.

Thanks for the suggestion. Between that and a good polarizing filter I'm hoping next fall's shots to be better. This was taken a little past peak foliage season, so I wasn't expecting miracles.

Nice photos on your site. I have family that lives just across the way from you in Lahaina.

Lahaina is over on Maui, which is about 150 miles away from where I live on Oahu - I actually live 15 miles north of Honolulu. We have an APUG member who lives on Maui. Maui is pretty, but too touristy for my tastes.
