Wow!! great response, Thanks everyone.
David, Yes I painted it as part of the image,although I wish it was a bit softer.
Nick, The strobe is a flash directed at the glass for effect as the second exposure. It also had a warming gel on it.
CPorter, I love the Horseman have had it for 20 years. They should really call it "the workhorseman".
Thomas, I hope another idea comes along well suited to this approach it is really pretty easy and fun.
