This is nice,looks like a reflection of trees and a superspeed filter to elongate them and blur it.I could be wrong...I've never done it and only seen it done once or twice.
 
Really good. Have not seen this done with B&W film before, and it lends to the technique beautifully. Fantastic result. I wonder if it could be worth trying with more fine grain to benefit(?) Though the grain could well have been your intention. As it is, the image is extremely attractive.
 
While it looks suspiciously like a macro photo of my thinning pate. I'd guess it was done by panning the camera vertically during that quarter second exposure.
Very nice image.
