Farwell Canyon

Carbon Transfer print made from 8x10 film. I wanted to see how a dye/dodge mask would work. A piece of frosted mylar was laid on top of the negative. The Autumn foliage was shaded lightly with a soft pencil, to lighten it in the print. The foreground was also penciled in a bit to lighten.

It's a beautiful, dramatic image. I can't tell from the online image, but are pencil marks visible on the print?
