Another shot from St Mary's Church, Wambrook, taken as part of a sequence of images currently being put together for the vicar. She is responsible for four local churches and this is the second church I've photographed.
This is definitely one of my favourite churches (and I've photographed a few over the years, mostly parish churches). It has a wonderful quietness and simplicity about it, with leaded windows rather than stained glass, beautifully cut stone and time-worn floors. The medieval carvings on the ends of the benches still exist too.
