welcome to the site, and this is very excellent, i think. I always like the interplay between rough and smooth, there's some very interesting texture here.

Thanks tyler,

I am scanner impaired.....small image is blurry, larger image is better but not as good as I'd like. I need help with scanner settings or techniques or something.

Interesting image. What's most important is how it looks in person. I'm a 35mm shooter and I'm sure most of the stuff posted here looks much better than the scans.

I'd give up on making a decent scan of any hand-coated print; that slight texture just reeks havoc. So...are you getting an incredibly nuetral tone with Zia or did you convert the scan to grayscale? And oh ya, nice print.

I'm not sure how I scanned it...It may have been in BW. It's like your first ever print was...your just glad you got an image.

It's pretty neutral on the cool side? There is better detail in the highlights too..I'll rescan it...then you can critique my scan. Thanks.

Happy days
