Lewisham Self Portrait

This was taken in my new home, Lewisham (for all non-Brits it's pronounced Lewish-um) where the centre of the action in Lewisham Market: a long and lively strip of shops and market stalls. When I think of the area I think of the hustle and bustle, the wide sidewalks and the best deals on fruit and veggies anywhere. They tolerate most types of odd behaviour as well--for example, someone going up and down the street and pointing a camera at the ground and then standing in front of it for no apparent reason. People let you get on with things around here, which is kind of nice.
