One of my most favorite places to photograph in Arizona! A very beautiful location! I hope to be up there come winter, during a snow storm.

What is up with the neutons rings in the sky area? Is this a negative scan? Maybe that is why.

If you ever wanna go out shooting sometime, let me know! I am from Tucson, AZ...but come up to Flagstaff and Prescott every few months.

Yes, those are from the scan I don't have a darkroom to make prints, one of these days I'll get the gear and figure out how to light-tight my bathroom. But for now I'm stuck with just processing the film and scanning it. I'll try scanning it again to see if I can get a better one. I live in Phoenix, I was up there camping for a couple of days. Much cooler

Jay, flop your negative over and scan it again, then flip it right after the scan. The emulsion doesn't make newton rings near so easy as the base side.

Thanks Gary, I'll give that a try.

ETA: OK I replaced it with a better scan. I think I had it slightly crooked before too.

Found this through Random Images. It was posted before I had even joined APUG. It is a truly beautiful shot. I wanna be there with a tent right now.
