May I suggest a holiday? (MSA)

Was at the rock pool taking photos of the surfers at North Narrabeen beach when all of a sudden a pod of dolphins decided to join them!
Took lots of shots, of course. Used a monopod.
Then this one jumped right in front of me, less than 70' away!
Just had the time to twitch the camera and take a shot of its second jump!
Pity APUG uses small images: this thing looks magnificent at larger sizes.
Sheer luck it came out so good!

Given theme is 'Suggest', I'd like to suggest a visit to this magic place!

Love how you did the bottom. Could look great in black and white as well.

Ah, wish I could take you up on your "suggestion"! It looks delightful! Great shot. Water is amazing!

The image was not "done" partially in any way. It's straight off the scanner, with a pass of Neat Image to reduce scan "grain noise" and Focus Magic for sharpness. And of course Irfanview to reduce it in size via Lanczos interpolation. Other than that, no extra zone processing whatsoever.

Thanks, everyone. I've been experimenting with Provia 100F over-exposed and with -1 development. It makes it more similar to my all time preferred slide film - Astia 100 - which unfortunately is now well and truly gone. If anything, I have to slightly reduce the "chroma" setting on the scanner so I don't get as much saturation. For this I totally relied on the AF of the F6: I usually set it to zone and let it find the ideal spot when I'm taking action shots of the surfers and it was perfect for this one! Pixel-peeping I can see the dolphin is in perfect focus which means the AF was smart enough to "detect" the movement and clamp on to it. It'd have been impossible to take this otherwise: the dolphin was just too fast for me! Totally a luck shot. I was soooo nervous waiting for the film to be developed...
