Did you make four separate negatives? Can you give us more detail about the process you used? This is really unique and quite beautiful.

Really is a beautiful result Lasse. Fantastic feeling of light in the glass jug and on the table. As gma says - unique artwork.

Thanks, I use T-max 100 and Mamiya RB67 , wratten colour separation filters. After developing I chose the best negativ for each colour. Make posiives for the gravureprocess
and then make gravureplates. Important to have control over which plate is right,
if you mix them you have 4X4X4X4 possibilities to get right. Printing in yellow+magenta+cyan
and black. The colours have to be adjusted for each plate. Register is made manually.
But it is to much work but amazing....

Lasse, are you using a press to produce the gravure? if so, what brand and model of press. I am in the market for a nice, inexpensve press for photo gravure.
Very nice print and excellent job of printing.

I dont think the press is doing the quality of the prints. My press is made by KORSON it is finnish ( SUOMI ) I have rebuild it twice with new bearings and put a plexiglass on the printing bed. I thave work with a charles brand press which was very good. For me is just the most important with the press for intaglio that you have possibilties too adjust the pressure speci
-al for the over roll in the press. Most work of the intaglioprint is the plate and the press often need very small adjustments.. On www.alternativephotography.com you could read my description for the process. The process is more about philosophy than picturemakingOne of my friends from USA say it is-timeconsuming - i live on an island in one of the biggest lakes in Sweden, love the dark sky with the stars and the old oaks outside my kitchenwindow.
the photogravureprocess is one of the most mystic process in the photohistory - but it is not !!!! Sometimes I think it is the same as the pyrodevoloping technich which has have an enourmes revival the latest years...

Very nice, I have been involved with printing for a long time and never created anything quite like what you have done here. It is a wonderful image!
