Old Trestle

Submission for the March challenge.

This is an abandoned railroad trestle near Monterey, CA. Image taken through the links of a large chain link fence blocking access to the bridge.

This was an exploratory shot, I intend to go back and capture this with my Wista. But probably not before the end of March, so this will have to suffice for the challenge.

It's a big bummer that they put up that fence; they only did so about 4 months ago. I got a couple of 8x10 negs from the bridge and had meant to go back but now it's too late. It's cool that you're cooking your own E6!

Yup, a bummer. I think I'll make up an Official APUG Photographer Pass, with my picture, so that when they try to chase me off (after I sneak around the fence), I'll just wave it at them and tell them it's OK.

Or maybe I'll have to make it an Official Railroad Trestle Inspector Pass... Let me know when you go to shoot it, and I'll let you in... :smile:
