This is really evocative Andrew - particularly when one knows what the location formerly was.
And any title that incorporates a pun is fine with me!

Wow, I'm clueless about this one. Where/what is this place? And what is a Holgon? I thought I was pretty savvy about the Holga world.

This is the old Riverview (Essendale) mental hospital grounds, walking distance from my house. A lot of modern facilities at one end, with several abandoned ones at the other...The film industries uses a couple. The grounds contain some amazing, old trees. I've been photographing there since I returned from Japan, back in 2002.
The Holgon is a modified Holga N. Johnny at Helicord Camera makes them.

@MattKing let me know if your game for a little photo fun!

When you go to the Riverview lands with Andrew, I swear that you can see the trees wave to Andrew and whisper "welcome back". :smile:
I've been staying really local through the winter Andrew - I hope to be able to travel a bit more soon.

Heading to Japan next month, for a couple months. We'll hook up in the Summer months.

Great shot. I live near the grounds of the old state TB hospital, Oakdale Iowa. Most of the old buildings are gone, but the beautiful old trees remain. I visit often.
