I know you haven't posted this in the critique gallery, but that never stopped me commenting before I'd crop some off the top to balance the photo with the bottom. If I was printing this myself and could burn in that highlight on her hair, I'd chomp off at the top of her hair, otherwise I'd chomp that off too as it will be very distracting and drag the viewers attention up out of the photo.
Thanks Nige, I never take exception to constructive criticism from most people anyway. If I do print this one myself I will certainly take your comments into account.
At the moment however I am entirely at the mercy of commercial printers.

Lovely image. I realy like the face of the girl in the upper part of the photo, she feels so real and I find myself wanting to know more about the moment when it was taken.
If you were to take the neg to a pro lab you could, at a fairly significant cost, unfortunately, have them do some burning, dodging, and cropping to your specifications. I imagine that there is someone left in Edinburgh who can do this.
