Return from Kingsley

Taken Christmas week in Jacksonville, Fla. This is the same road I photographed and posted here, but from the opposite direction. I was able to stand in the middle of it with camera and tripod for over five minutes without encountering a single car. (else the 'graph might have been called 'Flat Photographer')

Love it. Just as it is.

I like this one better than the second one, perhaps because it has more of a felling of repose. My only suggestion would be to return (if possible) later or earlier in the day, where the light might be more angular. Pictures made during those times of day convey the feeling of that time of day, which often contributes an additional magical element.

Cool, I love the composition exactly as it is, but on my screen it looks about a grade flat.
Well done

The other photo was a fine start and this photo is a decided improvement.

Thank you all for your comments. Since posting this, I've also printed it on Ilford Warmtone and been startled by how well that works. Also...of the three monitors in our house, it looks remarkably darker on the one I'm viewing now...flatter as Phill observed...than it does on the other two. Strange. Thanks again!

Very nice. I'd do a little more burning and dodging on it, and very slightly lighten the deep road and trees to pull you down it.
