Root Torrent

A pool of light was on the roots. This is the first time I have used this film. It has a very clear support. At first the negs seemed thin, but seemed to have reasonable shadow detail. I will try pulling it a stop next time.

I like it. If you don't mind me saying so, the only thing I would change is the foreground roots. I would like them the same as the middle roots.

I like it. The roots contrast nicely with the flowing water, and the sunlight in the upper left balances everything out. Well seen!

@mark Thanks Mark that's good suggestion. I hadn't thought of it because a pool of light was hitting just on the middle roots, so is how the scene was. But that can be changed in print and I will try that.

My preference is to leave the lower-left roots dark. If you lighten them, they lead the eye out of the frame too quickly. The mass of bright roots is also approximately the size and shape of the bright water which I like. I think the print is perfect as it it.
