  1. Yes
Nice sky with only a yellow. I thought that had to be the Scott monument in the background but I wasn't sure because whenever I have been near it, it was always in front of the Gallery so that's how I see it in my mind's eye. It's funny how disorientating it is to see things from a different angle

Thanks pentaxuser. The monument dominates the skyline in this part of the city, especially from the Mound. Tourists are forever taking selfies with the monument in the background.

Is it me?

I enjoy your views of Edinburgh. They always have an interesting perspective of the city... if their are folks in the picture, they are usually quirky, unique or distinctive somehow.

Take the two above, ones enjoying a warm sunny day, her coat off, in short sleeve shirt, head down, hands busy with some sort of activity or craft. The gentleman, just a bit away from her, seems just the opposite - cold, hands in his pocket, coat loose but protective, scarf wrapped warmly around his neck, gazing off at some unknown view.

Seems like Edinburgh is interesting and you have an expressive eye to capture it well.

Sorry can I ask. With that film and developer combination - why so much grain in the sky?

Thanks jvo. Edinburgh is interesting all year. There's always something going on.

Hi oxcanary. I had a look at the file in Lightroom, and there is no increase in grain. I increased the contrast but not by that much. It'll be interesting to see the result once I get the neg into my darkroom.
