Toy Ball

I think the concept for this is great. Needs to be taken to the next level.

What do you recommend?

Well this is not my image. That said, my favorite part is the ball with its stuff inside and the light on it. The grid works great in the light value also. A different grid without the fabric texture and the loose string? Maybe hover the ball above or sink it into the surface creating almost an inverse time time warp feel. The image needs to be played with to find its magic. I would try a whole bunch of different things even sketching for a bit until it goes beyond just an interesting ball setting on a surface. It is a great idea run with it!

I find this surprisingly engaging! Simple and somehow elegant!

Thanks Thomassauerwein you got me thinking. You know I don't 'play' with shots very much. This was for a 127 format day on Dec. 7th but the weather was lousy so I tried a few indoor shots using what was at hand.
