Excellent, an outstanding shot. The thumbprint is attention grabbing and when opened up your full size photo fulfills it's promise.

To say that this would have been better if taken in color is to say that one does not know aesthetics. This is demonstrably one of the best tonal renditions I have yet seen of a 'scene'.

You know, I don't think that pan film likes blue light. It was made for warmer lighting and superior tonal rendition is always evident with indoor, 'no flash' exposures. - David Lyga

Don't you just love Google Maps? The picture is quite a different interpretation than the surroundings.

Without looking it up it is likely an art piece, or reconstructed. A crude cresset lighthouse maybe?
