I guess that little Pentax 110 toy SLR would be smaller ;-)
Hi M. Axel Wikstrom:
I hate to mention this but the Pentax Auto110 ain't no toy !
Had one for about 15 years .. the automatic shutter could meter from 4seconds to 1/1000 ( if memory serves correct )
and the lenses were contrasty and coated and every bit as good as things for their 35mm and MF line up. Had an image of mine made with that camera featured in Fraction Magazine years ago ... pan focus, upto telphoto glass just fantastic. If the film to feed it wasn't so $$ and I had the patience to re-roll slit film, i'd still be using it now...
that all said, its pretty small , LIKE a toy but in disguise

Several versions of Pentax are smaller than M and several Pentax lenses are very small @ 1.4.
In terms of Pentax 35mm SLR cameras I guess the ME Super is pretty small (I had one back in the 1980s, but should have kept the K1000), but still bigger than a Leica M2 or M3. The Leica is 6 or 7 mm wider, but the Pentax is thicker due to the mirror box, and taller due to the prism. With most lenses, especially wide lenses, the Leica is much smaller due to the fact that due to being an SLR the Pentax has to use retrofocus lenses which are far more bulky.

The ME or ME Super is a little lighter, but that's due to the extensive use of plastic in its construction. The early Leicas are all metal, and should last far longer.

I'm sure you got some good images with that tiny SLR, and when they came out I thought about getting one. After thinking about it for about 5 seconds however, I realized that to me 35mm can sometimes be marginal in terms of image quality. Each his own I guess.

I’d love to get a Pentax 110 SLR, but today, 110 film is pretty scarce and limited. Six months ago, it looked like all you could get was old stock, but just recently a few film stocks popped back up. Nonetheless, it’s hard to imagine continued long term viability.
