Collection of spare parts for Nikon F3 and F3/T including a F3 Pin Registration (not for sale)

I managed this year - more or less by chance - to get a collection of spare parts for the F3 and F3/T including some F3 bodies, one of which is very rare.

The spare parts are originally packaged, unused from workshop storage, including two complete electronic boards in the box.

A remarkable find both for the collector and the repairer

Front plate and shutter unit

Screw covers for the base plate of the F3, which seal the connection for the MD-4 Motor Drive in a light-tight manner.

This is the area to the left of the ASA/exposure correction wheel.

I don't have it separately, just installed in one of my F3s for spare parts.

Removing it is not an issue, but the distance between Europe and the USA is more of a problem

I was able to find the parts needed in my spare parts inventory and they are already on their way to the United States

Part 762-2 is a foam seal that has since disintegrated.

655 should be present on the rewind crank not requested.

It is interesting to note that this is obviously an older version, compare the screenshots.

As far as the new F3 spare parts shown are concerned, I see them mostly as collectors' items, as they are rare in this form. And therefore I do not want to give them away.

But that leads to an interesting discussion: the meaning and purpose of spare parts
