Name? Ian MacEachern. His portfolio is currently profiled over on Photonet and his images of the 60s taken in Eastern Canada (for the most part) are among the most powerful photographs I have seen in a very long time. Just terrific work (all analog-b&w). His work needs to be elevated to the "famous" level. It's that good IMO.
