Henderson’s metol-hydroquinone developer with carbonate and caustic alkali

According to the Cassell Cyclopedia of Photography of 1911 Alexander Lamont Henderson (1838-1907) was a prominent figure in photographic circles of London in late 19th century and a private photographer of Queen Victoria. He should not be confused with another Alexander Henderson, a Canadian nature photographer who lived in a similar time frame.
