As far as the development of negatives is concerned, are the two rather similar.?
Thank You

A long time ago i thought they were the same but then I realized that I mislabeled a bottle and I was in fact comparing hc-110 to hc-110.

This being said, they are very similar developers, of course. But I remember one time when I was struck at how good looking my HP5 negatives were, when developed in ilfotec-hc. So much that I went and purchased 2 bottles (and that’s when Ilfotec-HC was 55$ While hc-110 was twice cheaper at 28$). I now dedicate ilfotec-hc to ilford films and especially HP5.

Thanks BTW

I assumed it was, probably, a very similar formula.
I doubt i would see a difference between the two.
Thanks Again

In the U.K. the price situation is now the reverse. One retailer is quoting £40 for HC 110 and £29 for Ilfotec - HC so unless the new HC-110 retains its old longevity there appears to be no contest in the U.K.

What's the difference in the U.S. now?

Thanks

Thankfully, I am not the only one who does things like this!

B&H now shows NEW HC-110 is 39.95USD per liter. OLD is discontinued. Ilfotec HC is 49.95 per liter.

Adorama lists Ilfotec HC at 45.99USD, but doesn't show any HC-110,

Freestyle lists HC-110 (previous version to NEW) at 34.99USD, Ilfotec HC at 56.99USD, and doesn't list HC-110 (NEW).

Thanks for the reply, silveror0. It would appear to be much the same price relationship as before i.e. Ilford Ilfotec HC prices in the U.S.still cannot match that of HC110. So this is still very much the reverse in the U.K. of what NB23 describes in the U.S.
