We need a forum for projection so that me and, er, nobody else, can make threads...

I bought a Kindermann AV 150. Neat thing, good for checking slides when you don't want to set up a screen. Bit of a fiddle to load but good to move a small show to the audience rather than vice-versa.

I have two projectors that offer either classic front projection or rear projection on own monitor.
The fact that aside of us two such devices were not hinted at here, as far as I remember, makes me think such was unknown on the other side of the ocean.

Several US manufacturers made slide projectors with integral screens for back projection. The target market was salesmen.

Thank you. I got two of these too. With a proprietary cassette for a film strip.

The ones by those german manufacturers use mounted slides in common trays and seem to have been aimed at a wider clientele. At least one german manufacturer advertized it only as amateur projector and same projector also was advised by an amateur magazin.
