Hi folks, more antiques for those with physically big pockets. Here is a a very nice early 1900’s No. 1A Folding Pocket Kodak Special Model C camera with leather case. It originally used 116 film. One wooden core take up spool included. Leatherette is intact with numerous scuffs that add to the vintage charm of this camera. The bed latch and kickstand do not work but are intact. The beautiful red leather bellows are supple and still light tight which is amazing for this age of camera! View finder is bright and clear. The lens is a Bausch and Lomb Rapid Rectilinear and is in very nice shape. Shutter works at all speeds but I can’t verify accuracy. F4-F128 nice round aperture. The bulb shutter release works fine but the tube has some cracks at the shutter connection point. The metal pieces except for the kick stand are in good shape with only minor signs of oxidation. The leather case has a wonderful old patina with numerous scrapes and scratches but still functional. Someone should put this beauty back into service with the nice big 2.25x4.25 negative size but would look nice on display as well.
