A recent Instagram post by Matt Stuart made me aware of her work as well. Great stuff.Markéta Luskačová
I'm a big Stephen Shore fan as well, although I don't like to hear him speak about his work as it sounds like endless psychobabble to my ears.Shore is one of my favourites. In particular the large format work he did throughout the 1970s (Uncommon Places/American Surfaces), was a major influence for me.
I was watching an Amazon Prime Video on Dorothy Bohm and Markéta Luskačová was speaking about Dorothy Bohm's influence.

Mario Algaze: A Respect for Light
Wojciech Plewinski whom I discovered just a year ago, in spite of him being in high polish photographic circles since mid 50's (so not that much before my birthday). Had a pleasure of being invited to his home and discuss directly his photography, visualization, and old good times. Link goes direct to his " Italy '57 " series with over 70% retainers of all shots taken. Timeless photography.
You mentioned Mario Algaze. If you were unaware he died last year September. Mario was a friend and I have all his books and several prints. Also a few years back we did a collaboration and I printed a limited series of four of his works for him in platinum/palladium/gold. For my efforts I have three sets (10,11 & 12) of each plus the printer’s proofs which I had framed and are on my wall If you or anyone is interested in one of the numbered sets contact me. Rest in peace Mario.I agree! One of my favorite!
