Not really worthy of a Wow - I just made all my prints three weeks ago. They're not worthy of a Wow, either 🙂

I just always feel that I need to get things done as quickly as possible.

I have Don_ih photo "Public", as you mentioned the fogged paper seems to go well with the subject matter. Great that you're keeping those older Leica's running.
Just down the road in Grand Valley.

I received Don_ih's "Man with Hat" today. It should be "Man with Hat in Small Car in Bad Neighborhood". It's a neat urban shot of a guy parked in a car in between security camera signs. Nicely shot and printed, no evidence of fog. Good catch. Thanks Don.

My postcards are in the mail! 💌
I had printed the same negative for everyone, but ended up using some of them for a collage instead, so...it's a varied bunch! 🙃

I received a very nice card from Thorsten today. It's actually a print, an 8x10 fiber print mounted on hard matboard. But sent as a postcard. And a very nice print it is, "Great Falls". A shot of Great Falls in Passaic, New Jersey. The falls in the corner, a railroad (?) bridge, and a building in the background. I like the building, it adds perspective. And I admire Thorsten: he takes his 4x5 camera on a business trip!

Great print, thanks Thorsten!

Thanks

And well, I worked in installation and commissioning and my „business trip“ durations usually were counted in n months, so taking a big camera made sense.

Regarding the subject of the shot: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Falls_(Passaic_River)
The first picture shown there is practically my shot from the other side. As far as I remember the house is a water power plant.

And I have received your card „Electric Eyes“ yesterday. A nice shot of what seems to be a funny looking (face shaped) electric metering box.

I just received @mfohl 's "Electric eyes". Funny shot indeed, I wouldn't have passed it up either. Not too grainy for my taste!
Thanks, Mark!

I received your "Great Falls" yesterday. Quite impressive! I had to look up the place, amazing history. Thanks for the nice print, arrived without a mark! 😊

Received "Rockwood Tree Trunk" from @j wilson - a nice shot of a very dead tree, with the roots interestingly writing away from the truck. Thanks!

@mfohl -- recieved your gas pump card today. Looks pretty sharp - I would've taken a photo, too. Sounds like an interesting place - maybe you should go back when you can get inside and investigate.

I remember when the balls used to float around in the glass window of gas pumps. I guess it was to show that the gas was flowing and wasn't the colour of coffee....
