There is sufficient information on this topic in the SPT Edition and in the available editions of the C & C Associated Electronic Troubleshooting Guides. One could compile general instructions from these, with references to the source, of course.
An alternative would be shorter treatises on individual camera models.
The aim is not to explain the circuitry of these cameras, but to solve common errors.
Since my contributions on this topic here on PHOTRIO receive numerous views but rarely any comments, am I perhaps the only one who sees a need for action here?
Or are books on a specific subject no longer state-of-the-art? Because the target audience prefers to consume other media for information?
Note: I'm concerned with the subject matter, not with aiming any commercial success.
