50-ft. and 100-ft. Daylight Spools for Double-Eight film cameras

#1
Is anyone interested in buying NEW standard camera spools? I plan to make such, black lacquered aluminum according to ISO 1020. Besides the common 25-ft. size these would help users with the following camera makes:
  • Paillard-Bolex H-8
  • GIC 8
  • Pathé Lido 8
  • Fairchild Cinephonic Eight
  • ELMO Zoom 8-TL
  • ELMO 8 C-300
  • Fairchild Professional Sound 900
The spools would be of good quality with the typical three- and four-splines center openings.

the level of interest would depend on what film was available to put on them.. the last 8mm film I obtained several years ago was on Soviet Plastic spools.

I might offer them to film manufacturers.

The ELMO 8 C-300 takes 25-ft. ISO 1020 spools only, made a mistake there. The 100-ft. spools for Double-Super 8 stock need to have square openings.

I've been after an Elmo C-300 but do not yet own one....

there certainly is double 8mm film available on 100 foot rolls from the likes of on8mil. So someone is buying it.
