i've been printing some e6 expired a few years ago.
processed in dektol adn Dcaffenol split.
what i have been doing is diluting the dektol 1:8 and
instead of 8 mins, i tray shuffle it for 4-5 mins, and then swtitch trays
and shuffle in caffneol C with a splash of dektol (stock) mixed in
the negatives are often times extremely dense due to the stain of the coffee and dektol
( and over exposing by 3-4 stops
) they scan barely, but contact print with ease ..
i don't use an enlarger to contact print but a 300watt bult ( that i use for azo printing ) and regular old rc paper.
the bulb is about 3 feet +/- from the paper and it is about a 10 second exposure.
to process, it goes in the same batch of Dcaffenol i developed it in ( i reuse about 3L for about 5 months )
i agitate it ( flipping it over and over about 8 times ) then into dektol until an image barely appears
then back into the Dcaffenol. works like a charm !
